Dylan shared his collection of Pokemon Cards.
He explained that he has just recently
started collecting Pokemon Cards.
Sharing affords students the opportunity to work on
communication skills. It allows students in the audience
to practice listening skills and then be able to ask
appropriate questions or make appropriate comments while
keeping the focus on the person who is sharing. During these
experiences the sharers share what they wish about their
collection and then call on two people for questions or comments and
a third person for a closing comment. The closing comment restates
something that was said by the sharer as well as a "thank you for sharing."
